Before-before after-after, I think all the swelling in my nose has gone down now!! I think my recovery was fast because the doctor kindly explained everything one by one, including follow-up care after surgery and anything I was curious about. Up until week 3, because I had osteotomy, every time I wore glasses, the bridge of my nose would get pressed and feel numb and achy, but it’s okay now! As the nasal tip became higher, my philtrum had been pulled up along with it, but as the swelling went down, it returned to its original position. There is still some very slight swelling left, but I can feel it subsiding. I was worried because the semi-profile view looked blunt, but now the blunt feeling is gone and the shape came out nicely! I didn’t take swelling medication because I thought I didn’t really need to, and since they say swelling can continue to go down until the 6-month mark, I’m going to keep watching it~~ I really like the shape of my nose now too~!
