I already had double eyelids, but after entering my 30s, my upper eyelids became looser, so I would sometimes get multiple eyelid folds, and even on days when my condition was good, the double eyelid line looked thin. I kept thinking I should get double eyelid surgery, but in the end I did not, and only did it much later after even my wedding photo shoot and wedding ceremony were over ㅜㅜ (Thinking about it now, I wish I had done it earlier..!!)
The reason I decided on the surgery clinic was that, through Instagram, I saw someone with a case similar to my eyes who had surgery with Director Lee Han-byeol, so I had kept him in mind for 3-4 years!! I was going to get double eyelid surgery from Director Lee Han-byeol ,,,, !!!!
Recently, after making up my mind, I tried to book a consultation at Almond Plastic Surgery, which I knew as the place where Director Lee Han-byeol had been, but he was not there ㅜㅜ Still, I found him quickly! He was at Eyeting Plastic Surgery :)
So my first choice was Director Lee Han-byeol at Eyeting, and my second choice was maybe the chief director of Almond Plastic Surgery...? That is what I thought. A week ago, I made a Naver reservation in advance at Eyeting, and the system was that the clinic checks the director's schedule and then contacts you to confirm~ Fortunately, the director was also available on the day I wanted the consultation, and if I made up my mind, it seemed same-day surgery would be possible too~
Just in case, I fasted before going to the consultation. The manager kindly checked my surgical history and discomforts, then connected me directly with the director.
If you receive a consultation from Director Lee Han-byeol, I feel like there would be no one who would not have surgery that day... He explains things very kindly, but more than his words, the impression he gives off is very good, and as a doctor he seemed confident about the surgery, so I felt I could trust him and leave it to him without having to worry unnecessarily~ (Before going to the clinic, I thought I must emphasize, please do it like this, please do it like that, please make it natural!!! but,,,, ) hahahaha anyway, as the patient, I ended up not saying much so that the director could be in good condition for surgery. He pinched a line suited to my eye shape with something like a wire and showed it to me in the mirror, and said he would make it natural, so that said it all :) After the director's consultation, I talked again with the consultation manager about the cost, and since same-day surgery was possible, I prepared for surgery~ After preparing for surgery, there is another more detailed consultation with the director in a private room!!
I decided to do a buried suture method with a semi-out line, and because the fat above my right eye was on the thick side, they said in such cases the line looks plump and unnatural when the eyes are open. So I also had fat removal on the right eye. Also, since I was at it, I decided to have revision lateral/lower canthoplasty too.
It is now 4 weeks and 2 days after surgery :) The line on my right eye seems to have come down much more than at first, as if it wraps around the eye~ The overly unnatural look when I raised my eyes upward & the heavy feeling have both become much less noticeable~
I will need to keep watching the swelling in the area where fat was removed, but it seems to be settling naturally into the semi-out line the director explained at first~~~~
If I had surgery and it did not show at all, I think I would be secretly disappointed... haha Since my eyes look even a little clearer, I am satisfied :) As someone who thinks plastic surgery depends more on meeting the right doctor than on the clinic, I really highly recommend Director Lee Han-byeol at Eyeting Plastic Surgery.
