At first, I thought I could live just fine without doing it. I had glasses, and I had contacts too, so I didn’t do it, but my friend kept recommending it, so I pretended to give in and got it done. Now I seriously wonder why I didn’t do this until now.
My vision used to hover around -7, and now after LASEK it has gone up to 1.1. I used to wear contacts every day, and not wearing them now is good for my eye health too, and my quality of life has just improved. On the first day, it didn’t hurt at all, so I wondered if LASEK was really this painless, but honestly, the second and third days were pretty painful. I couldn’t even sleep.. But that pain is temporary, and the happiness continues. I really recommend LASIK and LASEK.
