It was my first nose surgery, so I was nervous, but I wanted a straight-to-slightly upturned nose line. But because my nose was low and my nostrils were slightly upturned, during the consultation the director honestly told me, “If we make it too high, the nasal tip could droop.” At first I felt a bit disappointed, but thinking about it, the fact that they only told me what was realistically possible actually made me trust them more. My nose is still a bit swollen, but when I look in the mirror, I’m satisfied because my nostrils don’t show! Also, during the consultation, the director didn’t look at the clock and answered every single question whenever I asked, which I liked. They used silicone, autologous costal cartilage, and septal cartilage to lower the starting point of the nasal bridge and raise the overall height, so I’m hearing a lot that my face definitely looks younger. I’m still applying ointment to the autologous costal cartilage scar.
