Breast Surgery Reviews@breast-review

One-month review after breast augmentation at NT!

1. Choosing the hospital - Selection criteria 1) Excluded very large, high-volume hospitals 2) A place with a director who suggests opinions based on the patient’s preferences rather than one with a very strong personal style 3) A place with natural-looking review photos rather than overly dramatic ones

- I searched thoroughly online and narrowed it down to a list of 5 places, and had consultations at a total of 3. The biggest reason I ultimately chose Note was the consultation with the director! At first, I hesitated because there was a consultation fee, but they explain everything in so much detail that the fee did not feel wasted at all. Above all, among the 3 hospitals I consulted with, this was the only one that explained my breast condition, the surgical method, why that method should be chosen, and even side effects in an easy-to-understand and detailed way, so I trusted them the most. Just from listening to the consultation, I could feel that the director was meticulous and calm.

- I also liked the review photos because they were not excessive, but also not too natural-looking; the shape was just firm and pretty. The consultation mattered, but I also carefully checked the review photos before choosing :)

2. Implant and surgical method - Director Kwon Soon-geun / Motiva Full / left 335, right 315 - Dual-plane technique / axillary incision

- I have pectus excavatum, and they said that if the implant texture was too soft, it could slide downward, so Motiva was recommended to me. I chose it also because it is one of the safest implants.

- I proceeded with the commonly used dual-plane technique, and for the incision, I chose the armpit because they said the scar would later become hard to distinguish from natural folds.

3. Recovery after surgery - Usually during consultations, they say you can have surgery on Friday and go to work on Monday... But by my standards, I think that really only means you can physically “go to work”ㅠㅠ Even though I rested for about 5 days including a holiday period before going back to work, it was still hard for several days after returning.

- (Day of surgery) As soon as I woke up from anesthesia, my chest felt so, so tight, and I was so cold that my teeth were chatteringㅠㅠ Still, the nurse took good care of me in the recovery room, so I recovered and went home by taxi! On the first day, I slept sitting up, so I barely slept at all, and I endured the pressure and pain from my chest being compressed while taking painkillersㅠㅠ

- (Day 1 to Day 5) The pain was similar, and I think I barely slept on and off while taking painkillers. Since it was an axillary incision, I still could hardly use my arms up to this point. I think the swelling was also the worst during this period.

- (Day 6) The swelling gradually went down and the pain decreased a lot, so from this point I could manage daily life, and I went to work and did my job. Thankfully, I have an office job, so there was no major difficulty!

- (Day 7 to 1 month) Honestly, at first I regretted it and wondered what kind of luxury I was trying to enjoy by getting surgery, but now that it has been a month, I am living as if I do not even remember when I had it done : ) They say you need to watch until the 6-month mark, but even now the shape is quite natural, so I am very satisfied, and the feel is gradually getting better too!

4. Aftercare - One week after surgery, the director checked my progress, and since there were no particular issues, I received high-frequency treatment once a week for a total of 3 sessions.

- At week 4, I received capsular care + incision scar treatment! Every time I go, the therapists also respond kindly and take good care of me :) Whenever I have questions, if I KakaoTalk the manager, she explains them well.

I really thought about it for years before deciding to have surgery, but now that it has been about a month, my only regret is why I did not do it soonerㅎㅎ I am so satisfied because I think it turned out natural and not excessive! Now I am just looking forward to the feel becoming softer day by day.

Of course, there were directors with more experience than Director Kwon Soon-geun and directors who had been doing breast surgery since earlier on, but I think Director Kwon Soon-geun has experience and also performs surgery well with a trendy shape! The director’s aesthetic sense can be felt from the hospital interior! If someone I know were considering surgery, I think I would immediately recommend this place :)
