Before-before <this is before surgery, but the bruise on my chin happened because I got drunk and fell; I did not have any other procedures at all> After-after <these are after-surgery photos> Is the gap between before and after too big..?? After surgery, people usually go around fully dressed up, and since I was posting anyway, I wanted to upload the best-looking, once-in-a-lifetime photos, so I picked and picked When I read reviews, they usually just have a mood like, “It went well so I like it, thank you doctor,” but I’ll try to write my 11-month review as thoroughly as I can remember...
Honestly, I had no intention of writing a review like this, so I deleted most of my pre-surgery photos, but after I drank and fell, I took photos of the bruise to show my friends, and since they were still in my chat storage, I barely recovered them and ended up using them as my before photos like this Anyway, my face before surgery really had the most ordinary image I had cheekbones and an uneven facial line. Is that what people commonly call a peanut-shaped face? Anyway, I didn’t like all three: my cheekbones, square jaw, and chin, so I admitted that my face was not something I would be satisfied with through meridian massage or dermatology procedures, and I think I was the type who immediately started looking into facial contouring Anyway, since I was going all in with the full 3-part facial contouring, I wanted a glamorous line, and I went around to a few hospitals that were mentioned as being good for glamorous results, but maybe I’m easily swayed, because the doctors... why are they all so good at talking? Honestly, there were a few hospitals I liked, so I agonized so much when choosing one
Anyway, after worrying for days and days (to exaggerate, I think I even worried while sleeping), I had the surgery, and now I think I’m almost at the one-year mark To be honest, there is someone around me whose two-jaw surgery went badly, so more than whether the line would come out well, I wondered: after surgery, would I be able to live normally without side effects? Personally, that was the biggest key point for me
If you only look online, everyone says, “Our hospital is good~” and they only post successful cases, so every hospital looks good, and it felt risky to decide right away after just a few minutes of consultation... So the criteria I set for choosing a hospital on my own! >Whether I could watch the CCTV recording or whether real-time monitoring was available< There is so much talk about shadow doctors and all that, but honestly, how would you know what could happen? On the day of surgery, I had my mom sit in front of the monitor and then went into surgery
For the cheekbones, they made incisions inside the mouth and about 2 cm in front of the sideburn area, then fixed both sides, and based on triple fixation, I think it took around 40 minutes to 1 hour The square jaw was also sutured through an intraoral incision (they said doing it this way can minimize sagging) and the surgery time was 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes! My chin was on the wider side, so they went in with a T-osteotomy, and something like upward close fixation? I think they did that to reduce the volume and align it with the square jaw position It has been a while since I had the surgery, so I remember the exact terms? but this part might be a little wrongㅜ
After surgery, because of the anesthesia, my throat was dry and I had phlegm, so it was hard, and in my case, my voice was seriously like that of a teenage boy ㅠㅠㅋ A voice even more wrecked than when I had COVID... Until day 4, my mouth didn’t open well, and the incision areas throbbed until day 3 If I took painkillers, it was somewhat better, but not being able to brush my teeth refreshingly was surprisingly uncomfortable... Since I had to brush constantly whenever I ate something, later on, even if I was hungry, I would eat everything at once or just skip eating (I briefly lost weight then gained it back)
Later, I got so sick of grain shakes and New Care that I once ate Shin Ramyun, and when I honestly told the doctor, I got scolded.. He said I shouldn’t eat spicy food ㅠ At around one month, I could still smile naturally to some extent, but if I laughed a bit too much, my face felt tight ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I think laughing becomes comfortable only around month two At that time, I think I ate almost everything without really avoiding foods I went back to work as soon as the blue bruising went away (around day 10...) There was still yellow bruising, so I worked while wearing a mask. Now, even when I press on my cheekbones, there’s no pain, and it’s maintained without cheek hollowing or sagging!
