A few years ago, I had upper canthoplasty and double eyelid surgery, and they didn’t push excessive recommendations. They actually talked me out of doing too much and guided me toward a conservative approach. At the time, I was young and didn’t know much, so I asked for various things, but they stopped me then and let me do only what was necessary. I’m very grateful for that now, and it settled naturally. The disappointing part is that at the time, I had a slight canthoplasty to remove the Mongolian fold, whether it was epicanthoplasty? upper canthoplasty? anyway, and blood flowed from the suture area. When I asked about it, the consultant just said to either wait or stop the bleeding, and I didn’t feel like they were paying much attention to it, so that part was disappointing.
