The reason I decided to get contouring surgery was that I had a stereotypically East Asian face shape, and the rough-looking impression was a complex for me. Also, I wanted to look prettier while I was still in my prime, so I decided to go ahead with surgery. Since this was one of the most important and serious decisions in my life, or even among cosmetic surgeries, I took enough time to research and went with my parents. There were many clinics where the consultation ended with just that, but Director Kwon Jae-hyun carefully checked the patient’s personal needs realistically and thoroughly examined even the unfamiliar points that could easily be missed. Since my parents’ approval was needed, they felt the most reassured as well haha As for the time since surgery up to now... rather, seeing my face keep changing, I got complacent, and I ended up gaining more weight than I had before surgery!!! My facial shape changed again because of the facial fat, but even taking that into account, the line still stands out and is visibly noticeable. Since you see your own face every day, you might not notice it yourself, but friends who saw me for the first time in a while after I did not tell them I had contouring surgery immediately noticed! Right after surgery - until one month, there was significant swelling, and eating cautiously, opening my mouth, and moving the zygomatic area all felt unnatural. Fortunately, since I was free from major daily obligations, I managed the swelling with in-clinic radiofrequency treatments and occasional lifting treatments, and patiently waited. Even up to 2-3 months, the swelling remains very generous. It feels like I have little cheek pouches Even though I was not a case where a big change could have been predicted, looking at my pre-op photos made me think, ah, I definitely changed, I definitely improved! After surgery, I definitely feel more confident mentally, and the director said that from here on, there are only better days ahead, so I will keep making more effort to achieve the best possible result and look forward to an even more positive recovery!
