Leaving a real 6-month review of 2 types of facial contouring

Before <front view before surgery> Before <side view before surgery> After <when swelling was full at week 1> After <1 month> After <3 months> After <6-month front view> Before <6-month side view> I really think facial contouring surgery is absolutely a battle with time lol It’s exactly been 6 months since I got facial contouring, you know? I’ll put explanations on the photos, so look at them by week/month. From when I decided on facial contouring surgery until I actually had surgery, I’ll write down the thoughts I had then and the emotional struggles in as much detail as possible lololol Right now I’m extremely satisfied and living happily lol

**Before surgery First of all, my square jaw was really very severe, so I was extremely stressed. Especially from the front, my face itself looked very angular and square. My cheekbones were an issue and so was my retruded chin, but my square jaw was just so stressful ㅠ I had wanted facial contouring surgery for a long time, but because of the cost + fear, I had only been thinking about it. An acquaintance had done 2 procedures for around 4 million won through an event, and said it was more tolerable than expected, so I think I asked for information and went for a consultation.

**Consultation I felt that facial contouring surgery wasn’t as expensive as I had thought. The place I went to was a large clinic, so I think it was less expensive than ordinary hospitals (it may vary by hospital). I wanted my square jaw to definitely become slim, and for the cheekbones, because of the cost + the thought of “is it really necessary?”, I wanted 2 procedures. The director said satisfaction would be higher with 3 procedures, but if I only wanted 2, doing that would not be bad either. (It’s true that this gave me trust, but thinking about it now, I kind of wish I had just done 3 procedures ㅠ)

**Surgery The day before surgery, I really couldn’t sleep at all, and before entering the operating room my body was trembling so much. Even when changing clothes, I was really shaking. I was so sleepy I wanted to sleep, but I was still shaking. It may partly be because I’m just a scaredy-cat, but I was truly scared. People who have had facial contouring will relate.

**After surgery My face was really extremely swollen. I felt like there were wounds inside my mouth + my throat felt scratchy. I stayed hospitalized for one day and was discharged, but honestly, this time was a bit hard ㅠ I was truly touched by how extremely devoted? meticulous? the nurses were in taking care of me. I’m selectively F, but that day I became extremely F lol It wasn’t the level of pain I had imagined, but hard is still hard lol

**Week 1 I was going back and forth to the hospital, receiving various care, but the swelling didn’t go down as much as I expected, so I started getting anxious. I was seriously troubled. I had paid several million won for surgery and even used vacation time to recover, but it felt like there was no effect at all, so I asked the consultant a ton, and when I went for follow-up visits I was really anxious too. Still, when I went for walks, I sprayed the dry shampoo they packed for me and was like, the scent is nice lololololol I think I actually searched for facial contouring reviews even more diligently then than before surgery. I think it was because I couldn’t tell whether what I was feeling then was a side effect or not.

**Month 1 Even after reaching month 1, I felt like nothing had improved at all, whether it was swelling or whatever, so my distress hit its peak. At that time I was so pissed I seriously considered writing a post in this community lololol I was like, there’s no effect at all, so what facial contouring surgery are we even talking about, and I cursed a lot to people around me too. I think I was honestly a real difficult customer to the consultant, but she really listened well and comforted me, so I’m still so grateful ㅜ

**Month 3 From around two months and two weeks? in, I could clearly feel my face had gotten slimmer when looking in the mirror. As the swelling gradually goes down, you may not notice it yourself, but if you take photos and gather them together, it definitely gets slimmer little by little. Right when I reached month 3, it had become tremendously slimmer, and from the front, the slim jawline I had imagined slowly started to show. People around me also started interrogating me, asking if I lost weight, what I did, and why I got prettier, so I felt pretty proud.

**Month 6 Now that all the swelling has completely gone down, I’m really satisfied. To the point where I feel sorry to the director and consultant for being so distressed and difficult until now... lolol If there’s really one thing I regret, I just wish I had pushed myself and done 3 procedures. Because my lower face became so slim, my cheekbones started bothering me lololol If the only reason you’re choosing 2 procedures while debating between 3 and 2 is money, then just... do 3. Still, I’m extremely satisfied, and it was my choice, so I have no regrets!

If there’s any information you need, leave a comment. I’ll explain as much as I can based on my experience.
