The place where I got filler was in the Gyeongbuk region. I was debating between fat grafting and forehead filler, and I got forehead filler. I’m so satisfied with the shape and everything that I wonder why I didn’t do this sooner! haha (If you don’t get greedy, it’s more natural than you’d think. If you put in a lot, it seems like it would show.)
I got a domestic filler, Attierre haha I had 6 cc injected and got forehead Botox in 2 areas, the glabella and forehead? I got it there. At first I thought 4 cc would be enough, but during the consultation, they said it seemed like I needed the full 6 cc. They even said if areas I wanted to fill more appeared, I might need more.. My forehead is on the narrow side, my brow bone protrudes, and the temple area is sunken, so I had a consultation saying I wanted to fill mainly those areas naturally. They said Botox helps it last longer, so I got it together. There happened to be a package event, so I paid 600,000 won by card, but because of VAT, I paid 660,000 won in total. They said if more was added, it would be 110,000 won each time. I was really worried because many people say forehead filler hurts, but I was relieved it ended well haha <Forehead filler process> First, they applied numbing cream and disinfected my forehead, then I got several injections in my forehead to block the nerves (6-7 shots?) Those injections hurt a bit.. haha Still, if you think about something else, it’s tolerable? After that, once the anesthesia takes effect, you get the forehead filler. From then on, my head started feeling strange, and when they put in the filler, the sensation was odd. It felt like some medicine was spreading, or like my forehead was being drugged. It felt like they were poking around my forehead here and there. Inside my forehead felt like it was crunching.. I just kept thinking, “Please let it end quickly.” I was nervous, but after it was done, they pressed firmly on my forehead, and when the doctor did the molding, it was over.
The consultant said the anesthesia would wear off about 3 to 4 hours after the procedure.. They said it was good to take Tylenol in advance before the anesthesia wore off, so I took it, but my head hurt so much that I just slept that day. I thought, surely I won’t be in pain, but the headache made my head feel heavy, and it was hard to endure the headache. It felt like my head was splitting... The next day, I didn’t have a headache. There was only a heavy feeling. Because of that, my condition got worse and I even felt nauseous on the day I got the filler. I think that depends on the person. At first, the upper forehead area was a little bumpy, but it’s gradually getting better! According to the consultant, swelling normally lasts 2-3 weeks. Just like the reviews said, the second day was satisfying, and I’ve been satisfied since then too, but the swelling gradually moved down toward my nose. It wasn’t so obvious that it interfered with daily life. They said getting forehead Botox once every 3 months helps with the maintenance period. At first when I got it, I thought, “Ah, I won’t get this again next time,” but after seeing the shape of my forehead, I was so satisfied.. I thought, this is why people endure pain to become prettier. If you look carefully at photo reviews and go to a place with a lot of filler procedure experience, it seems like you don’t need to worry. As time passes, the very heavy feeling in my forehead also seems to be gradually improving. It was my first time getting forehead filler, so I didn’t know, but they said 6 cc isn’t even that much. But after getting it, I understand haha. Since everyone’s forehead shape is different, it seems important to get the amount that suits you, not how many cc you get. Anyway, I’m writing this hoping it helps people who are debating between fat grafting and filler haha I’ve also had under-eye aegyo-sal filler and chin filler before, and in terms of pain, I think it’s chin filler < under-eye aegyo-sal < forehead. After forehead filler, they put bandages on the injection sites. They said I could remove them after 2 hours and that I could wear makeup too haha And they told me precautions, and among them, they said that if I saw redness on my forehead the next day or something like that, it could mean a blood vessel was blocked because of the filler, so I should watch carefully. But I didn’t have anything like that haha That made me scared. They said cases like that are rare, but even if it happens, if you visit the clinic quickly, they can take measures. I wasn’t prescribed anything like antibiotics.. Taking headache medicine was the end of it. Anyway, I’m satisfied with my forehead filler. Because of the Botox, I do feel heaviness above the glabella, though.
