I get Thermage every 1 to 1.5 years. This was my third time, and I got it again after about a year. It’s not a treatment with a noticeably dramatic effect; it’s really for subtle changes only you would notice, like feeling more elasticity and firmness in your skin when washing your face. Aside from everything else, I heard it helps delay aging and is something you get like a preventive shot, so I’m trusting that and getting it diligently. This time I got 900 shots. I heard 900 shots are usually divided between the face and neck, but I suddenly got scared about doing the neck, so I asked them to divide all 900 shots across my face. I usually only got 600 shots, so I’ll watch to see whether I can feel a change this time, and if there’s any dramatic difference, I’ll leave an additional review.
This time, I had numbing cream on for about 1 hour and 10 minutes, and I took one Tylenol before going. Maybe because of that, it hurt muuuuch less than when I had it done by another doctor, so I was really happy. They kindly kept telling me to let them know if it continued to sting or hurt, so I received the treatment comfortably.
