For compresses, I only did cold compresses until day 10, and after that it was too much of a hassle, so I gave up on compresses and just worked hard at wearing the compression band and walking Stretching by pulling the neck left and right, up and down Opening the mouth as wide as possible and saying a-e-i-o-u, stretching the mouth muscles, etc. seem to make the heavy feeling less and help Red bean water or hibiscus tea seems more helpful than pumpkin juice, so I’m still continuing to drink them I’m originally the type who swells easily, so I’m severely swollen in the morning, and by evening the swelling has gone down haha
As for eating, until day 7 I mainly ate soft foods, and as soon as the stitches were removed I tried foods I wanted to eat, but they were hard to eat. Even now I can’t gobble food down, but if I cut it into small pieces, there’s no problem. I can really chew well, without pain~ Hamburgers, sandwiches, chicken, pizza, hot dogs, and other fattening foods can’t be eaten in one bite, so scissors or plastic gloves are absolutely essential. It’s sad because when others eat two, I wonder if I can even eat oneㅜㅜ
The process of surgery and recovery was so hard that I never wanted to do it again, but now that I can see my face line and eye line, I think I did well to get it done. Very satisfied, huge success hahahaha And the memories of how hard it was before are getting hazy.. As expected, people adapt well!!
