I had surgery on my eyes, nose, and a facelift. If I did each one separately, the recovery period seemed like it would take too long, so I had them together.
My current state is 2 weeks after surgery, and after checking the surgical results, I’m satisfied, so I’m posting this comment 100% voluntarily. First, I’ll post my impression from the consultation stage. I am Choi ㅇㅇ.
I visited the plastic surgery clinic for a consultation on 10/11. (The surgery was on 10/25, and now it is 11/9, 2 weeks later.)
Before that, I had consultations at about 10 hospitals, and through that, I developed my own eye for evaluating and judging hospitals, surgical methods, and surgeons. The hospitals I visited included hospitals that only do facelifts, hospitals that only do eyes and nose, and hospitals that do facelifts together with eyes and nose.
Hospitals to filter out are: 1. Hospitals that make you wait for 2 hours even though you clearly reserved a consultation time. For this type of hospital, because the waiting area is packed, it is probably a marketing strategy to make people waiting for consultations think, “This hospital must be famous and have many patients.”
If that’s not the case, then they are extremely insincere toward patients. It’s an insincere attitude that treats appointments with customers as unimportant and breaks them casually. Would a surgeon like this operate on each person with detailed care and sincerity? I think these hospitals should be removed from consideration.
2. Surgeons who explain things roughly when customers ask questions, have an authoritative attitude, or seem tired.. These surgeons should also be filtered out.
After surgery, you look in the mirror several times a day every day and end up having a lot of questions, such as whether the surgery went well. Not only that, but there may actually be times when you need supplementary treatment after surgery. At that time, a sincere attitude from the surgeon is essential.
So if you have even a slight concern, you should filter them out.
3. Is the hospital neat and clean? How kind are the staff?
This shows how perfection-oriented the surgeon usually is. A clean hospital, smooth workflow, and everyone being kind are all reflections of the surgeon’s perfection-oriented tendency. A surgeon who is not like that may also have lower completeness in surgery.
After going around this time, I realized our country is a paradise for plastic surgery clinics. Gangnam is wide, and there are many plastic surgery clinics. If you are not satisfied, boldly look for another hospital.
Using these criteria, I had a consultation at the plastic surgery clinic on 10/11, and I had fairly detailed consultations with the surgeon for eyes and nose and the surgeon for facelift, and heard specific explanations of the surgical methods. After going through this process and making my own reasonable evaluation and judgment, I decided I could have surgery here.
