I went to 1mm through an acquaintance's recommendation, had a consultation, and booked right away. I was also too lazy and didn't know much, so I just did it there right away.
The wait was long, and the director was busy, so he only saw me for about 30 minutes during the consultation. It was during COVID, so I was wearing a mask, and he just looked at my eyes....? Not the overall look...? So I was like, huh? lol
I often heard that my eyes were uneven and that I looked like I was slightly glaring at someone, so I wanted it to feel like a natural correction. My eyelids were thin, and when I opened my eyes wide, a double eyelid would form, so I had natural adhesion. (It felt like my eyes were born to have natural adhesion.) And they recommended epicanthoplasty and ptosis correction, so I did those together.
What's unusual here is that there is no such thing as drawing a double eyelid line; you sit on the operating table, hold the line you want yourself, they mark it, and then proceed accordingly. (They kept scolding me to stay still because I shouldn't blink lol) I held it almost as an inner double eyelid, and the result came out the way I wanted. I don't know if the epicanthoplasty made a big change, but it seems like they do it on their own to match the eyes. (Since I made it almost an inner double eyelid, I don't think they opened the inner corners that much either.) (The reason I chose an inner double eyelid was that my nose is big, so my facial features are already distinct, and I didn't want my eyes to become too intense. Also, I didn't want my image to change a lot.)
About 1 week later, I went to have the stitches removed. It hurt like crazy when they removed the stitches from the epicanthoplasty. You only meet the director during the consultation and right before surgery. The swelling went down quickly, and even after school started, the other kids didn't even think I had double eyelid surgery lol So I just lived naturally and often heard that my eyes were pretty.
There were many kids around me who had double eyelid surgery, but they all made the line thick...? For sure, with kids who had incisional surgery, you can tell even after time passes. If you are a student who wants a natural look or wants to correct an eye complex, I recommend 1mm. Since it was my first and last plastic surgery clinic, I can't compare, but I'm satisfied with the result. (Seems like a lot of people come through word of mouth.) (But I just found out they don't have CCTV, and that kind of turned me off lol..) Since it's an inner double eyelid and I did ptosis correction together, it feels almost zero risk of loosening. [One-line review] I solved my complex while maintaining my image and heard that my eyes are pretty.
++My mom also had revision eye surgery and lower canthoplasty, and it turned out very natural. (People around her barely know she had eye surgery and just say she got prettier lol)
Why am I writing this now??? Because I'm planning to get a rhinoplasty consultation at another clinic!!! Hahaha!!!
