Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

I went for a consultation at ㅇㅇㄹㅅ for under-eye fat repositioning and double eyelid surgery

I'm going to leave my job at the end of this year, and once I do, I'm planning to finally get the eye and nose surgeries I've been putting off(?) haha I'm taking half-days off and going around for consultations in advance, but I didn't have time today, so I went to just one eye clinic first. It was my very first consultation, so this post is a bit long. Please understand lol ㅠㅠ

Iris Location: about a 3-minute walk from Sinnonhyeon Station I had the consultation in the order of manager - director - manager, and they were very kind.

But ㅠㅠ the director advised against under-eye fat repositioning for me... He said my eyes wouldn't benefit from it. He said my severe dark circles show through because my skin is thin, so under-eye fat repositioning wouldn't fix them... He said I should rather do it later when I get older if the under-eye fat protrudes or sags. Honestly, until now I thought under-eye fat repositioning was a surgery for people with severe dark circles, so that was my first bit of confusion. But because he actively advised me not to do it, I actually trusted the place more since it seemed like they don't overtreat lol

For double eyelid surgery, he said my eyes would benefit from buried-suture double eyelid surgery, but he also recommended non-incisional ptosis correction, which I hadn't expected at all. That was my second confusion lol He measured my eyes with a ruler and said that when an average person opens their eyes, a certain number of centimeters of the iris should be visible, but I was a bit short of that (I forgot the exact centimeters.. I remember being short by about 1-2 cm) I was aware that I had ptosis too, you know?? I thought double eyelid surgery would improve it, but apparently notㅠㅠ When I asked, he said double eyelid surgery is about the skin, while ptosis is about the muscle, so ptosis correction is needed to see an effect. I said I don't like looking sleepy, and he said then I would be more satisfied if I did non-incisional ptosis correction together.

And I... took Wonyoung's photo with me, you know? lol After looking at it, the director said the line was too thick and wouldn't suit me.. He advised against it.. While making a line with a probe, he said doing it this thin would suit me best. He said if I make it that high, my impression could look harsh and I might regret it.. But since I'm doing it anyway, I wanted something a bit more glamorous, while the director told me to go natural.. In the end, he also opposed an outfold line ㅠㅠ and recommended an in-out line.. Maybe I don't know well because I've never had plastic surgery?ㅠㅠ

Anyway, I think the consultation took about 30 minutes total? It was my first consultation, but the director consulted comfortably with a smile, so I relaxed a bit. For double eyelid surgery, since I do have ptosis, I'm considering non-incisional ptosis correction together, but I'll decide after going to consultations at other clinics too. Oh, and at the end, when I was consulting with the manager, she also told me not to wastefully get under-eye fat repositioning. Since everyone was telling me not to ㅠㅠ I started thinking maybe I just shouldn't do it. I had deliberately booked the next clinic as a place known for under-eye fat repositioning lol Sorry, but I just canceled that consultationㅠㅠ I think it may be better to ask at the clinic where I booked the nose consultation about double eyelid surgery + nose surgery together. After I go around for nose consultations next time, I'll leave another review.
