After getting LASEK surgery, 30 minutes passed and the anesthesia wore off, and my eyes stung so badly that even just seeing light hurt, so I relied on my guardian to get home. For about 3 days, it hurt so much I couldn't sleep, and even if I did sleep, I woke up in the middle. I stayed in my room with blackout curtains and all the lights off, but it was still hard. However, after 3 days passed, it didn't hurt much anymore, and they said it was better not to look at my phone for about a week, so I lived without looking at it. Three days later, I went to have the protective lenses removed, but they changed them to new ones, checked the condition of my eyes, changed my eye drops, and I came home again. From then on, they said it was okay to use my phone and computer, but to put in artificial tears often, so I lived doing that. After a week, I went to a local ophthalmology clinic, had the protective lenses removed, and when they checked my vision, both eyes came out as 1.0. I can see well with both eyes, but my eyes are a bit dry, and overall I feel like the quality of my vision has dropped. They say LASEK needs about 6 months of recovery time, so maybe that's why I feel that way. During the recovery period, they said to avoid UV rays, so I got UV-blocking glasses and wear them when I go outside. I think it's fortunate there are no complications. Really fortunate.
