A review from a breast surgery newbie on day 8 after breast surgery
I had a little bit of basic breast tissue, but because of dieting, I was bothered that my upper breasts looked sunken... You know the feeling, right?ㅠ So while I was gathering breast surgery info, I had an acquaintance whose breast surgery turned out really successful, so I didn't look anywhere else and went straight ahead with surgery at the hospital my acquaintance recommended haha
Since it was the hospital where my acquaintance had breast surgery, actually... seeing the result with my own eyes meant there was no need to hesitate.. lol And most decisively, I think I became even more certain after the consultation~ When I visited, the hospital atmosphere and my trust in the director rose sharply. That was the case for me
First of all, the director who consulted with me was Director Kwon Sunbeom~ He explained things so~~ well that I really had no separate questions to ask haha. He also picked up exactly the kind of look I wanted, which was so goodㅠ And the consultation manager was also extremely kind, and it felt like she was trying hard to take good care of me! What was interesting during the consultation was that they showed me a 3D virtual simulation of the surgery and showed how it would look after surgery by implant type and size, so it was easy to decide on the size!
Anyway, the conclusion is that thanks to the director and manager explaining everything carefully, a lot of my anxiety about breast surgery was relieved and I felt trust.
The hospital environment also played a role in my decision. It felt warm, cozy, and very clean lol. Overall, I was satisfied with the environment too, and from the moment I visited, the interior of the hospital was comfortably decorated, so it put me at ease and felt relaxingㅎㅎㅎ All the staff were kind, and I got the impression that cleanliness was thoroughly managed too~
And~ what I felt after actually having the surgery!!
First of all, thankfully, I got lucky and had no pain~ (I read somewhere that while individual physical characteristics matter, if dissection is minimized, pain is reduced)
On the day of surgery, I rested enough and went home in the evening~ On the day itself, I felt so fine that I wondered if it was okay to be like this! No drainage bag X
The day after surgery, I visited the hospital to change the bandage. When I woke up the next day, my body felt a little heavier than on the day of surgery? It was definitely a bit hard to get up by myself~ When changing the bandage, the director came, checked my condition, went over the post-op precautions once more, and checked whether I had anything I wanted to ask before leaving. The person who treated me was also careful and did it gentlyㅎㅎ
Then on day 3, the bandage was removed, and yesterday on day 7, the stitches were removed~ Stitch removal didn't really feel painful either, and the director came again, asked me various things, and checked my condition
Right now I am recovering after surgery, and although it has only been barely 1 week.. I already strongly feel like my breast surgery was a successㅜㅜㅋ
Now I'm looking forward to the changes after the major swelling goes down, and to reduce the swelling quickly, I'm going to diligently keep up with aftercare!~ They said they provide plenty of aftercare, so I think I'll be going back and forth to the hospital diligently during the first month lol
Recovery~~ hurry up >_<!
