Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

3 years ago, I had revision rhinoplasty: Medpor and septal cartilage for the nasal tip / silicone for the nasal bridge…

Since my first surgery was one I begged my parents for after entering university, and even went to the consultation with them, I asked for it to be as natural as possible. Because of that, overall it felt like it was not noticeable enough, so my satisfaction was low. (No matter what anyone says, I think plastic surgery is about personal satisfaction.)

In the end, after graduating, I decided on revision surgery and visited about 3 to 4 places in person. Honestly, these days, because of COVID, I think it may be hard to actively go around for consultations, but I still think you should personally visit at least about 3 places before surgery.

At that time, unless you are extremely indecisive by nature, I think everyone will have a hospital that somehow just feels right to them. In my case, once I got that feeling, the hospitals I went to for consultations afterward just felt like a formality.

Even if a hospital is rumored to be very famous, there are hospitals that somehow just do not fit with me. Strangely, the timing may keep not working out.. Even if it looks good to other people, if I do not like it, then I think it is not right for me.

And no matter how skilled the doctor is, when my body is unwell, when my condition is bad, when I am mentally struggling, at times like this, I feel it is hard to get a good result. No matter how urgent it is, I think it is better to schedule surgery with some leeway during times like these.

Going back to the hospital where I had my nose surgery, at the hospital where I decided to have surgery, since costal cartilage felt too burdensome, we decided to proceed with revision surgery using Medpor and septal cartilage (nasal tip), and silicone (nasal bridge). At the time, I was a bit ambitious, so I asked for it to be as high and slim as possible, and also had alar reduction done together.

The result was quite successful, and even now, 3 years later, I am satisfied.
