I didn’t have much facial fat, and I often got told I looked pitiful, so I had my first procedure in September last year and my second one in March this year haha But I didn’t want that super-obvious plastic-surgery look either, like forehead inflated, cheeks inflated, chin inflated, so I told them I wanted natural volume and had the surgery the same day I consulted haha They took fat from my thighs. Honestly, for the first procedure my thighs hurt so much that I barely felt any discomfort in my face, and I thought if even removing a small amount for facial fat grafting hurt this much, liposuction would absolutely be impossible^^;;
My face was just bruised and swollen... the swelling was enormous, so at first I was really worried because I looked like a total surgery-made face. It wasn’t just puffy; it looked like it would pop if you poked it with a needleㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I think it took about 3 weeks for the swelling to become reasonably natural. And then I was incredibly satisfied!!!
I wondered if this was natural, but if the amount inserted at first is 100, it feels like only about 20-30 actually survive through real graft take? So as time passed, a lot of the first round absorbed, and it wasn’t just less natural, it had gone down way too much, so I booked and went ahead with a second procedure, and the second one was honestly much, much easier.
Even on the day of surgery, I was not very uncomfortable, and compared with the first time, the swelling was about one-tenth? I think almost all the swelling was gone in just about a week. There was no bruising except at the needle insertion sitesㅎㅎ
It’s already been over 2 months since the second procedure, and it has become completely natural. Honestly, I think I was more satisfied when there was still some swelling^^
If you have little facial fat and are getting fat grafting, do it three times, do it four timesㅠㅠ You can escape looking pitifulㅠㅠ I also tried full-face fillers, but fillers seemed to have a feeling of localized collapse or sagging downward, so personally, fat grafting suited me betterㅎㅎ
