Before<Before><1 week><2 weeks><2 weeks>I had double eyelid surgery about 5 years ago, but the line became asymmetric, and it made me look sleepy, so I had surgery to match one eye to the other. While doing that, I also got canthoplasty to get rid of the stuffy-looking feeling. The double eyelid surgery was a revision, and this was my first time getting lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty. I did get conjunctival edema, and maybe because I had looked at a lot of photos before surgery, I wasn’t shocked or scared.. Still, considering I had double eyelid revision plus two canthoplasty procedures, I kept telling myself it was pretty okay and controlled my mindset haha
Right up until just before surgery, I kept asking the director to open up the canthoplasty as much as possible, and I really think they did the maximum. I love how my eyes look clearer & more open. The asymmetric lines were also matched, so I feel so relieved, seriously! There are still some red-looking areas on the whites of my eyes, but they’ve improved a lot compared to before, so I think by around week 3 they’ll all be gone haha
