After<2 weeks >After<1 month>Before<Before>My nose was low and blunt, so it felt like it was disrupting the overall atmosphere of my face. My older sister has the exact same nose as me and had surgery last year, and her shape came out pretty, so I had surgery at that hospital too. I left the design entirely up to the director, but when I mentioned my requests, I said, a high nasal bridge is good! But please make sure my nostrils don’t show from the front.
The early period after rhinoplasty was a bit hard. It felt stuffy, and because of the swelling I couldn’t tell whether my nose turned out well, so it was mentally difficult..ㅜㅜㅜㅜ And the bruising and swelling came up all at once, so I looked even uglier.
Still, from week 2, the bruising was almost gone, and a lot of the swelling on the nasal bridge had gone down. The nasal tip still felt a bit plump? But it was nice that the uncomfortable things (cotton packing, splint) were gone. From then on, I went around wearing makeup.
At 1 month, there is still swelling at the nasal tip!! But I can see it gradually going down. I went for a follow-up, and there were no particular problems. The consultant said my nose suits the overall feel of my face well.
Honestly, I don’t think rhinoplasty is an easy surgery…!! There are a lot of things to manage, but after getting surgery this time, I understood why people do it. After doing my nose, it feels like the old-fashioned look disappeared from my face?
