Before After After Before surgery, I often heard people ask if I was angry, and my eyes were just typical monolid, ordinary eyes, so I thought I should get double eyelid surgery as soon as I became an adult. But everywhere I went, I heard a lot that it seemed like I would need incisional surgery, so after thinking about it, I had the surgery!
The things I cared about most before surgery were
1. Excluding factory-style clinics (preferably a hospital that mainly focuses on eyes) 2. A place that seemed to design the shape as naturally as possible, not trendy-looking eyes 3. A place where the director had long experience with eyes 4. A place where the review photos didn’t look heavily edited That was about it
After narrowing it down that way, only a few hospitals were left, so I went around for consultations and decided on this eye clinic The director recommended three procedures: incisional double eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, and medial epicanthoplasty, so I had all three haha This place apparently handles a lot of difficult eyes and has many incisional surgery reviews. I also decided because it seemed like many people with eyes similar to mine went there!
After surgery, I often hear that my eyes look softer, and I’m satisfied because they seem almost twice as big I was really worried that if I had incisional double eyelid surgery, there would be surgical scars when I closed my eyes, but they healed like double eyelids that had originally been there, without any bumpiness. I guess incision doesn’t always mean scarring
I heard that the advantage of a private clinic is that it’s easy to contact the director directly after surgery, and Director Park Byung-ho checks my eye shape every time I visit, asks whether anything is uncomfortable, and I had no time to develop worries, so it was really good haha
