I had surgery last Friday, and yesterday I had the stitches removed from my buried-suture double eyelid surgery.
It’s only day 4, and I haven’t even had the stitches removed from the medial epicanthoplasty yet, but somehow every time I look in the mirror, I feel like only my eyes look wide and intense in a burdensome way...
Especially when I look in the mirror from far away, it feels like two big square eyes are attached to my face, and I feel like only the whites at the inner corners of my eyes are showing, so I’m worried they opened them too muchㅠㅠ
I originally wasn’t thinking about getting medial epicanthoplasty, but after going around to consultations, everyone said that if I wanted my double eyelids to last, I needed to get medial epicanthoplasty, so I agreed to have them open just a little... But after the surgery, it feels like the proportion of white showing at the inner corners of my eyes has gotten too large...
Will it be okay later after the stitches are removed, the swelling goes down more, the bruising disappears, and some time passes?ㅠㅠ
