Before-before-after-after, the price was a little over 10 million won, and it was at DPF in Apgujeong. It’s been a year now.
Reviews of facelifts in your 30s are rare, so.. I thought I’d write one. If you’re young.. people say things like, “Don’t get a facelift~,” and personally I think it’s better to ignore that. I had a hard time watching my jawline gradually collapse, and honestly I didn’t even have any fat left to lose, but I kept hearing things like, lose weight and it’ll go away, get lymphatic massage, get lifting treatments, and so on. In reality, after doing all three, none of them worked...
I spent money on every treatment I could.. but didn’t get the results I wanted, and after going around in circles I eventually got a facelift, and that’s what I’m happiest with..
- Consultation I asked in detail about the surgical method, side effects, and recovery period after surgery.. But at DPF only, the consultation manager honestly told me that it would take some time for facial sensation to come back, which made me trust them..
- Detailed consultation for my face This was with the director. The consultation manager is good at answering things like aftercare, but in the end the one actually doing the surgery is the director.. As the director at DPF looked over my face design, they talked about what would be best, which made me trust them more. Especially because they said natural results would be good, and that if you do surgery earlier, you’ll age more slowly than others. I liked that honest consultation.
- Recovery period (almost 3 months..) The recovery period is almost 3 months. Things like, “You’ll be better in just one month~,” honestly all sound like ads to me.. Because my face shape was such a huge complex, I really asked to be pulled tight and have an influencer-like sharp jawline made, and I said I wanted the sagging double chin gone.. So maybe they pulled it even more, but at the one-month mark I was genuinely at max discomfort…. (Who said everything is recovered in a month….) And at the two-month mark it was bearable, and by three months it felt comfortable enough to forget I’d even had surgery. The surgery looks more natural and all the swelling really goes down by six months~ People say it goes back to how it was after a year, but maybe because the director pulled it really tight, I think it looked even prettier at the one-year mark.. Honestly, when I’m in my 40s I think I’ll probably do it again. Plastic surgery is addictive, yes, but you only live once.. I want to live more beautifully..~
