I had eye surgery with the buried-suture method 5 years ago, and the surgery turned out natural. Unless I tell acquaintances first, they don’t really know I had double eyelid surgery. As time passed, the line gradually became lower, so the double eyelid settled slightly above the inner double eyelid I originally had! Since I wanted natural double eyelids, I don’t think it’s a downside as long as it doesn’t come undone. If you want a natural look, I recommend the buried-suture method.
