My ears were very prominent, so I searched a lot, booked a consultation, and had surgery. For anesthesia, I could choose between sleep and local, and I chose local. It hurt when they injected the anesthetic while I was fully awake, but it was bearable I think the surgery took less than an hour, and the person who removed the stitches was kind, and the director was kind too. It's a surgery I'm as satisfied with as I am with double eyelid surgery.
