Square Jaw Botox Review

My jaw + masseter-muscle square jaw was stressing me out so much that I thought I might at least try Botox, so I went to a local clinic and got it done. After waiting, the manager came out and said that if it was my first time, I should try the cheaper option first, so I chose an affordable domestic Botox. The manager was very kind! I was really worried it would hurt, but after holding an ice pack on the area and getting the injections while it was a bit numb, honestly, it would be a lie to say it did not hurt at all, but only the moment the needle went in stung a little, since of course it was piercing the skin. When the Botox went in, it felt like that sore, heavy feeling when getting a dental anesthetic injection? I started seeing the effect from the one-month mark, and I think it was almost at its peak around the third month. It was not a dramatic effect, but the facial contour that had been stressing me out looked even a little more refined, so I was quite satisfied!

Originally, if you connected the temple muscle to the jaw muscle in a straight line, it was almost vertical, but after getting it done, it decreased by about 3 to 6 degrees.

However, if there was a side effect, since it paralyzes the jaw muscle, I could not use force well, so if I chewed for a long time, it hurt a bitㅜㅜ At night, when I was lying down trying to sleep and using my phone, it would suddenly feel really stiff, so I had to put effort into opening my mouth to loosen it.

But honestly, if a square jaw is really stressful, the side effects were tolerable enough to still get it. I could not get it again for personal reasons though!

If you want to maintain it consistently, I think it would be good to get it again at the five-month mark, because by six months it completely returns, so you have to wait a bit for the effect to show againㅠ

It is now the seventh month, so it is exactly the same as before I got it!

I cannot say whether I recommend it or not because there may be big individual differences, but I hope this review is helpful.
