It was my first time getting jaw Botox, and since I have a lot of masseter muscle, I got twice the original dose plus extra. Since it was my first time, I am not completely sure, but there was quite a bit of pain. Still, it was tolerable, and definitely not to the point where I felt I could not get any more injections. It does feel like a factory-style clinic, but I am satisfied because I saw a pretty good effect. It is not a dramatic effect, but I definitely feel like the muscle around my jaw has reduced. I think the real effect will show if I get it more times.
