Today I went to three places, ㅅㅅㅇ, ㅇㅇ, and ㄸㅋ, for under-eye fat repositioning consultations, so I’ll share my review. I’d be so, so grateful if you could also read the concerns I wrote at the endㅏ
1. ㅅㅅㅇ The waiting time wasn’t very long. At first, the consultation manager came in and explained under-eye fat repositioning, and she was extremely detailed. Since it’s definitely a hospital specializing in under-eye fat repositioning, it seems like even the manager has expertise in this. The director was also calm and kind. He explained well how the under-eye fat is divided, how the surgery would proceed, and even the fat grafting method. Everything was good, but the price is expensive.. The director also seemed very confident, so I liked it. After the consultation, I had another question and texted them, and the manager explained it to me over the phone.
2. There was no notice about basic things like septum reinforcement. They only said they would open a passage on the tear trough side and move the fat downward, and didn’t tell me what method they would use for the surgery. They did explain while drawing a picture, but how should I put it, it felt like school science class. Instead of explaining how they would perform the surgery, they only explained under-eye fat repositioning and then it ended.. Up to the earlier part, everything was so-so, but the part that made me certain I shouldn’t do it here was the after photo. They showed me one before-and-after photo, but there wasn’t a dramatic change.
3. My appointment was at 6, but they said I’d have to wait about 30 minutes because of surgery, so I waited, but ended up waiting 1 hour. So I went in already tired. I went to consult with the director because I heard he does surgery well so that the aegyo-sal stands out, and he definitely explained things about the aegyo-sal in detail too. Among the three places, this was the only one where they directly touched my eyes and showed me what I might look like after surgery. He said I probably wouldn’t need grafting, and I asked a lot of small questions, and he answered everything clearly. The price was right in the middle. It’s similar to the price at ㅅㅅㅇ when doing only under-eye fat repositioning.
I’m debating between ㅅㅅㅇ and ㄸㅋ. For the director consultation and additional effects like aegyo-sal, I liked ㄸㅋ more, and for the surgical method, I liked ㅅㅅㅇ more. ㅅㅅㅇ felt textbook-like and standard, while ㄸㅋ felt trendy.
