I want to get revision rhinoplasty because contracture developed after my nose surgery. I looked into a clinic specializing in revision rhinoplasty and went for a consultation. During the consultation when the doctor looked at the condition of my nose, they immediately judged that it was indeed contracture I was hoping it wasn’t but it was contracture The doctor said I need revision surgery, and said all the existing implants have to be removed and replaced with new ones. For the implant materials, they recommended revision surgery using ear cartilage and silicone. Since I don’t really want to raise my nasal tip a lot, they recommended making it look natural with ear cartilage rather than autologous costal cartilage. The doctor explained each reason carefully while examining me, so I was able to receive the consultation with real peace of mind, which was so nice!
