I had severe ptosis, so I had sleepy-looking eyes + small eyes, and on top of that I had a double eyelid on only one side, making my eyes uneven. It had been a big complex since I was young, but this time I finally made up my mind and decided to get surgery.
After going around to several places, the place I chose was a plastic surgery clinic in Nonhyeon-dong. What made me decide that I should have surgery there was that
instead of simply saying, “You have severe ptosis, so you need surgery,” they explained the internal structural reason why my eyes were like this and said this part needed to be operated on in this way. As I listened, I felt it was a bit different from other places.
Also, I actually wanted to do everything that could be done, but the director pinpointed only what was necessary and said this alone would be enough, and that there was no need to add anything else. I think that was when I really started to trust them.
When I first saw the director, this is just a feeling, but they also gave off a bit of a master or artisan vibe lol. During the consultation, I could feel overall that they were thinking about the patient.
Of course, the result was so good that I’m really satisfied. After the surgery, it turned out so well that I wondered if this was really me, and people around me kept asking where I had it done and saying it was seriously amazing. Later, I heard that the director has been performing surgeries for a very long time, since around 2000. Maybe that’s why their skills are really excellent, and I feel like I made the right choice doing it here.
I think starting next year, there will be one more person I need to thank on Parents’ Day.
