Review of revision posterior cheekbone surgery

Hello. After posting a few times here and there and looking into things, yesterday morning I finally had revision posterior cheekbone surgery. Yesterday, after general anesthesia, I was so drowsy that I couldn’t write properly. While paying by debit card, I learned for the first time that debit cards also have a daily limit haha. So I paid part of it by account transfer and got a cash receipt, and paid part by card. Since it was a revision surgery, I was even more nervous. Even during my first surgery, I had worse swelling than bruising and quite a lot of throbbing pain. They say swelling and pain vary case by case, and since my bones are thick and my frame is on the larger side, plus I couldn’t sleep properly, the swelling was severe and, as expected, the pain was bad too. This varies from person to person, so those who are scheduled for surgery, please don’t worry too much,, It was originally supposed to be a one-day hospitalization, but I don’t know what got into me, I wanted to rest at home. For reference, the doctor and nurses took care of me even after surgery and were kind, and the hospital room was good too. Before surgery, when I was on the operating table, the nurse talked to me and helped me relax. Currently the pain has all settled down, but yesterday I also had mild body-ache symptoms, like a light cold. This also varies case by case, so don’t worry too much. The doctor said light walks are possible starting today. They paid attention to me in many ways. When I briefly loosened the compression band, it had definitely gone down a lot, but there is still a lot of swelling left. I heard people usually start removing the compression band from day 3; do you take it off for 15 minutes to rest and then wear it for 45 minutes?? I heard that if you wear the compression band for too long, circulation gets worse, so it’s actually better to loosen it briefly. Please let me know how everyone did it~ Also please tell me how to reduce swelling quickly!
