Hump nose + the inside of my nose is very deviated to the left + a really slight arrow-shaped nose
and my nasal bridge is moderately high? I absolutely pursue naturalness!! So honestly I just want to get rid of the hump, but after going around for consultations, I’m conflicted.. A somewhat detailed review of my consultations
<ㅂㄷㄴ> -20-minute wait, consultation took about one hour total -Shaving only the hump is 2.99 million KRW (if doing it, incision only on the left side) -No implant - 3.49 million KRW (since functional nose surgery would be done together anyway, the septal cartilage has to be removed, and they would just use that, so it doesn’t feel burdensome; high chance they won’t use ear cartilage) Both include deviated septum surgery too, so indemnity insurance claims are possible, but only at this price if booking within 2 weeks -Sedation anesthesia -Reservation deposit 10% absolutely non-refundable; if I end up not having surgery, the deposit can be applied to another procedure -AS period 2 years -Swelling injections, vitamin IV, infrared care - unlimited for one month -If surgery is on Monday, cotton removal on Wednesday, splint removal on Saturday, and 6 hours of hospitalization after surgery -CCTV can only be checked by the patient
<ㅎㄷㅁㅎ - Director Hwang Ho> -No CT scan -Consultation time 30 minutes (I think the director saw me for under 10 minutes; consultation started right away without waiting) -AS period 1 year -Unlimited swelling injections and scar tissue injections for 1 year -Price - 4.4 million KRW (if using donated rib cartilage, additional 1 million); if paying a 50,000 KRW reservation deposit today, 3.5 million KRW (if I don’t have surgery, the 50,000 KRW can be changed to another procedure); price is the same whether silicone is inserted or not (strongly recommended silicone) -Sedation anesthesia -No hospitalization time, go home right away
<ㄷㄹ> -They do a CT scan, consultation right away without waiting -They explained things extremely well with examples; the best explanation among the places I visited today -For the surgery method, they use septal cartilage if it can be used, but because they can only know accurately once they go into surgery, before surgery I have to decide between using both ear cartilages or rib cartilage + one side of ear cartilage (but this clinic said there’s a fairly high chance they may not be able to use my septal cartilage because my nose is very deviated..) -Both ear cartilages 3.5 million KRW; if functional nose surgery is done, 500,000 KRW may be added -AS 1 year -Aftercare - swelling injections available every time I visit (seems like they only have swelling injections) -If a guardian wants to see the CCTV, they can -Surgery time 1.5 hours, recovery about 30 minutes -Two surgeries per day -Reservation deposit 10% (pay when setting the surgery date; there’s no separate “pay the reservation deposit by this date to get a discount,” so it feels more trustworthy)
For consultations, I liked them in the order ㄷㄹ > ㅂㄷㄴ >> ㅎㄷㅁㅎ
Tomorrow I’m going to ㅇㄷㅇㅇㅇ, and after shopping around I’m even more conflicted.. I guess I should still visit a few more places, right?
