AfterBeforeI had surgery on October 1 with Director Jang Wook at Objet Plastic Surgery. It has been exactly one month since the surgery. My under-eye area was bulging and I also had dark circles, but they disappeared after surgery, so I’m satisfied.
The swelling after surgery wasn’t severe, but when I removed the tape on day 4 after surgery, there was yellow bruising. The bruising lasted more than 3 weeks. This probably varies by person, but after looking at reviews, I think mine lasted a bit longer than average. Also, my eye shape looked sharper and my eyes seemed slightly smaller, so I was anxious. So I asked via KakaoTalk, and they said that once the residual swelling completely goes down and 3 to 6 months pass, my original eye shape will return. It is slowly coming back. If only that part returns, I think I’ll be very, very satisfied! I heard that as the bulging area under the eyes becomes flat, fine wrinkles can appear, and I did get more wrinkles when smiling than before. I think that part can’t be helped. Still, even if I went back to before the surgery, I think I would do it again! If you hate wrinkles more, you can choose not to have the surgery, and if dark circles and under-eye fat bother you, I think choosing surgery is reasonable!
