1. Reason I had surgery I originally had a semi-out line (left) and an in-out line (right), but the lines were faint, so when I did not put strength into my eyes, they would come undone > I kept opening my eyes with force, so I decided to have surgery.
2. Reason for choosing the hospital Five years ago, I also had rhinoplasty with Director Cha, and because he designed it to fit well with my preference for a “natural” look, I was very satisfied. So I had another consultation and decided to get my eyes done at Xena too.
I also went around to 2 other hospitals for consultations, but it felt like the directors did not look closely and the counseling managers looked at everything But Director Cha is always kind, listens to my needs, and gives consultations, which I liked, so I made a reservation right away the next day!
3. Surgery Natural adhesion (semi-out) + ptosis correction (a little)!! Compared with my original semi-out line, the middle part was raised slightly more (I wanted the line to look higher), and the left-right asymmetry was adjusted while proceeding.
4. Surgery process It was done under sedation anesthesia > local anesthesia, and it seemed to take about 20 minutes from lying on the operating table.
5. Surgery review Because it was natural adhesion, the swelling is going down quickly, so I think the major swelling will all be gone in about a week. From Day 4, I wore glasses to work, and from Day 5, I covered the bruising with makeup and went to work!
Until Day 3, I wondered if it was too big, but from Day 5, when I saw the right side go down first and the line settle, it was exactly a line slightly higher than my original line, just what I wanted, so I am very satisfied.
+ It has only been 5 days, so there is still a lot of swelling. I hope you will take that into account when looking at it:)
