Before<Before>Before<Before>After<1 month>After<1 month>After<1 month>I really hated how long my chin was before surgery, like a witch’s It looked blunt and long too, and honestly, my chin was why I decided to get facial contouring surgery lol I went in thinking that if, after the consultation, they said I needed other areas done too, I’d do them together, and when they told me adding square jaw surgery would make the effect look even better, I did the square jaw together too!
It’s now been one month, and after the surgery, up until week 2, time really... really dragged, but after getting the stitches inside my mouth removed, time seemed to pass pretty quickly~ Until week 2, I avoided spicy/strongly seasoned foods and tough foods as much as possible, and I worked hard on walking and warm/cold compresses, so I remember the swelling going down fairly quickly lol Of course, by week 3 I was eating with some difficulty, and by week 4 I was eating freely lol
You can tell from the before photos, but my face was really on the long side. But after surgery, people around me said the long-face impression had largely disappeared lol My overall face is the same, but I really feel the importance of the square jaw again like this lololol And my face got much smaller overall lol I started wearing makeup from week 3, you know? But once I put on makeup, the before-and-after difference was really obvious lol
After week 2, I didn’t separately go for walks or do compresses, but maybe because I kept receiving aftercare at the hospital, the swelling has gone down a lot now lol They say swelling can continue to go down for 6 months to 1 year, so I’m not too worried!! I hope the swelling goes down quickly lol
