About 8 years ago, when I got double eyelid surgery, I did not know much and also got medial epicanthoplasty because it was recommended to me. This is a review of the medial canthoplasty restoration I had last year.
First of all, even before surgery, my lacrimal caruncle was already quite visible. After surgery, of course, the lacrimal caruncle became even more exposedㅠㅠ Even from the front, one side was severely exposed, and especially from the side, it looked unpleasant to the point of being disturbing.. I had just given up and lived with it.. but while working from home, I decided to have surgery.
For choosing a hospital, I first ruled out places that do micro-restoration, and went with a place that only had a few comments saying it seemed overcorrected, without other side effects.
In conclusion, the problematic lacrimal caruncle exposure improved a lot. However.. my eyes got smaller, the space between my eyes feels somewhat wider, and I have a bit of scarring left. Still, I am satisfied that the original problem was improved.
