It had been about 3 years since I had zygoma surgery, and when I looked things up online, people said that if you are going to remove the pins, it is better to do it sooner, so I was quite worried Then I found out about a plastic surgery clinic that only does facial contouring surgery and made a consultation appointment. During the consultation, I first met the very kind consultant, and then met Director Oh Jungseok, who seemed honest and steadfast, with a trustworthy way of speaking and look in his eyes(?). I did not even visit another hospital and immediately paid the deposit before leaving:)
What worried me most was swelling and bruising after surgery. Online reviews said it was less severe than the main facial contouring surgery itself, but still significant, so I had kept putting off the surgery But there was almost no bruising or swelling compared with what I expected, and acquaintances who did not know I had surgery just said it looked like I had gained a little facial fat lately:D I tend to swell easily, so I think all of this may be thanks to the doctor taking care to minimize bleeding during surgery~!! Also, since I had to return to daily life right after surgery, I was worried about stitches and scars left at the sideburn area, but the doctor seriously considered this during the consultation as well and proceeded with Dermabond instead of stitches, so it was not noticeable:) There was no pain at all, and I did have numbness around the mouth, but by around week 3, sensation had almost returned!
If you are considering surgery, I would like to recommend “The Standard of Contouring”! Also, the hospital is not very large and there is only one director, so it felt like they paid more attention to each patient, which was really nice. Highly recommend~~!!!
