I got double eyelid surgery in Busan on 6/21.
-Incision + ptosis correction (no canthoplasty) -Paid the remaining balance on the day -> changed into patient clothing in the recovery room, checked precautions, temperature check, face wash, photos -> entered the operating room -
They did it by putting me under sedation for 2 minutes, then giving local anesthesia and waking me up to proceed. Sedation really felt like I had gone to another world, so it wasn’t exactly pleasant ㅠ During surgery, the smell of burning squid was intense and I could feel everything, so that part was hard... The scheduled time was 1 hour, but after the surgery was done, an hour and a half had passed. I rested in the recovery room for 20-30 minutes and then came home. But I was more okay than I expected, so I safely came home by bus (my home is in Masan)
I was worried the swelling would be severe, but for day 3, I don’t think it’s that swollen right now. So far I’m satisfied. I also like the feeling that my eyes open well.
