My eyes look really natural now, and people think I never had surgery lol I met my younger sibling last week, and they said mine turned out the best among the people they know who had it done. I have no regrets either, and I think mine really did turn out the best among people around me. The line came out really natural.
When I first looked around at clinics, I searched through tons of reviews and narrowed it down to 3 places, then went around for consultations. This place felt the most trustworthy and like communication was smooth, so I went ahead with it. (The director who did the first consultation was also kind.) I had a lot of flesh around my eyes and severe ptosis, so they said I needed incisional ptosis correction. When I said I wanted lateral canthoplasty, they said there was no space at the outer corners, so we should only do epicanthoplasty. (They said they could do upper and lateral canthoplasty as a set, but if I did that, my eyes would look artificial and I’d regret it, so they recommended only epicanthoplasty. In the end, I only did epicanthoplasty.)
I had it done in my senior year of high school, so I got a discount and paid 1.6 million won for epicanthoplasty + incisional ptosis correction.
It was noticeable until about 6 months, and everyone could tell I had it done.. hehe But after 1 year, once it settled in, it looked natural, so now nobody knows unless I say it. I used to hear a lot that my impression looked harsh and that I looked angry even when I smiled, but now I don’t hear that anymore. My impression really looks much better.
To be ho~nest, when you read plastic surgery reviews, there are a lot of bad ones too, and people don’t really look at plastic surgery positively (I was also going to get contouring or a nose surgery but gave up on it). But I truly don’t regret doing my eyes. However, after epicanthoplasty, I did get milia on the inner corners of my eyes a few times. And maybe because some time has passed, the line does come undone ve~ry occasionally. Once or twice? When it came undone, it went back into place after about a minute, though.. Are the side effects about this much?
