Because my calves are short compared to my thighs, the saddlebags on my thighs protruded a lot, and the inner fat going up from my knees to my thighs bulged out so much that I barely wore shorts once or twice a year.
I went for a consultation a month ago, and at that time the director carefully examined my fat layer and thickness, so I had the surgery with 1000% trust! On the day of surgery, I was out of it because of the anesthesia, so I just lay down all day. From day 2, my legs trembled a bit, but as I kept getting up and walking around, the pain gradually went away! It was very hard to sit down in place, so putting on socks was difficult...ㅜ About a week after surgery, the swelling reached its peak, and by around 2 weeks, the calf swelling was almost all gone and I was walking upright!
It’s still only week 2, but I can clearly see that the saddlebags are completely gone, so I’m looking forward to when all the bruising disappears... haha I’m holding on with the single thought that once even the minor swelling is gone, I’ll be able to comfortably wear shorts without worrying!!
