It was my third surgery. The first and second surgeries were done at another hospital with donated rib cartilage, and this time I had it done with ear cartilage. (I did not do the nasal bridge.)
Since it was done with ear cartilage, I do feel disappointed that my nose is lower than after the first and second surgeries. Still, the crooked nose, breathing difficulty, and step-off at the nasal bridge all improved, so I am satisfied. It is not the trendy pretty and glamorous nose these days, but it does not look obviously operated on, and it is a fairly round and cute nose, so I am not stressed about it. The height.. is disappointing, but I do not want to open my nose again or harvest ear cartilage again, so I plan to live with it as it is. What is good about Jeongwon is that when I tell the manager about something I am worried about, they immediately schedule a follow-up with Dr. Mangun. At many other hospitals, they ignore you after surgery, but Dr. Mangun does not seem to be like that, so I think this part is really good.
