Even before surgery, I didn’t have any major dissatisfaction with the shape of my eyes itself, but because my eyes are sunken, even slight swelling made them look stuffy. I was unhappy with that, so I had surgery hoping my eyes would become just a little bigger. There wasn’t any particular pain during the recovery period, and now that about 2 weeks have passed, the overcorrection has all settled and lifted into place. When I look in the mirror, it feels like my face has become more refreshed, without any change to my overall impression.
