Review of posterior canthoplasty

At Taco, Director Oh does eyes, and Director Kim does facial contouring. At other hospitals, both the nurses and doctors responded unkindly, but at Taco, they gave a thorough and kind consultation without showing any annoyance. Plastic surgery is something you do because you feel something is lacking in your appearance, but just because I feel that way doesn’t mean I should pay a lot of money and lower myself to a hospital to get surgery. If you do it somewhere unkind, 100% it won’t go well and you won’t get aftercare either. If their attitude is like that even before surgery, what would it be like after surgery? For these reasons, and because I liked Director Oh’s professional surgical method, I chose Taco.

I was worried about these 4 side effects of posterior canthoplasty: 1. indentation 2. round shape 3. returning to the original shape 4. sanpaku eyes. They performed the surgery well without side effects, and Director Oh’s surgical method is designed to prevent these side effects from happening. (For exact details, please get a consultation at the hospital.)

I went to sleep under sedation and woke up with the surgery finished, and the pain was tolerable. No problem at all with daily life. But it was a little hard because of conjunctival edema. Mine was not severe, but it was still very uncomfortable. This does go away after 5 days to a week. And although it varies from person to person, I hope people planning to have surgery know that conjunctival edema can occur. I had the stitches removed after 10 days (removing the stitches hurtㅜ). Once the stitches are removed, the swelling goes down much faster!

Because posterior canthoplasty can have side effects or re-adhesion, it seems people often have revision surgery 2 or more times. I was like that too, and if you are having your first posterior canthoplasty or a revision, please definitely get a consultation at Taco. Everyone, don’t be stressed and overcome your complexes.
