I went to sleep under sedation and woke up with the surgery finished, and the pain was tolerable. No problem at all with daily life. But it was a little hard because of conjunctival edema. Mine was not severe, but it was still very uncomfortable. This does go away after 5 days to a week. And although it varies from person to person, I hope people planning to have surgery know that conjunctival edema can occur. I had the stitches removed after 10 days (removing the stitches hurtㅜ). Once the stitches are removed, the swelling goes down much faster!
Because posterior canthoplasty can have side effects or re-adhesion, it seems people often have revision surgery 2 or more times.
