It’s been 3 months since I had before-and-after revision surgery for sausage double eyelids.
Before surgery, I had heard so much that sausage double eyelids are a difficult surgery, that they’re an extreme case and you really have to research well, so looking for a clinic was a bit hard, but I found a clinic that suited me well and had the surgery, so I really think I was lucky.
I went for consultations at places where the director had as much experience as possible and was known to specialize in handling revision surgeries well. Of course, the consultations elsewhere were all good too. But at TS, they first identified the cause and then explained while laying out a surgical method and plan based on that.
I was told I didn’t have enough extra skin, so double-line excision was recommended, and they said the starting point of my line was too high and a lot of fat had been pulled along, so I had upper eyelid fat repositioning done together.
At first, after double-line excision was recommended, I was really worried about the scar from double-line excision, but with no extra skin, it was the best option for me if I wanted to lower the line But they told me that this surgical method itself has the limitation that it can’t remove the previous scar, which made me trust them more, and I felt that they were planning the surgery to make it as unobtrusive as possible according to my current eye condition and what I wanted, so I gathered the courage to get the surgery.
They told me not to worry, saying there would absolutely not be two double eyelid scars or that it would get worse, and after 3 months, it really has faded a lot and the line has come out naturally, so I’m completely satisfied so far.
I’m also grateful because they always check the progress thoroughly after surgery and take good care of me But honestly, aside from everything else, I’m happiest that my sausage double eyelids were fixed...
