Eye Surgery Reviews

Review of In-Person Consultations for Eye Revision Surgery (ㄱㄹㅂ, ㅇㄹ)

About 10 years ago, I had incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction, and because I wanted to improve the scar, sausage eyelids, uneven eyes, and lower the line, I decided on revision surgery and went around for consultations today.

1. ㄱㄹㅂ/Park No consultation fee Maybe because it was a weekday, there was no wait. I waited about 5 minutes and went right in. It went in the order of consultant-director. The consultant kept saying that the director really pursues a very natural look. Seems like they don’t overtreat. They said without needing double-line removal or ptosis correction, if they finely excise the scar and release the overcorrected part, it would improve a lot. I also brought a photo of the line, and they were very confident that they could make it just like that. They said it wasn’t a difficult case. But they didn’t actually hold a line for me even once. Since it had been a long time since I had a consultation too, I forgot to say it.. They said AS is for 3 years and that they would manage the scar with a stem cell ampoule? or something like that. There was some pressure to put down a deposit. The director and everyone overall were kind.

2. ㅇㄹ(ㅗㄹㅗ) There is a consultation fee, but if you add them as a KakaoTalk Plus Friend and subscribe to YouTube, they waive the consultation fee. There is photo-taking. Likewise, treatment went in the order of consultant-director. The consultant was extremely kind. There wasn’t much of a wait, but the consultation before me ran a bit long, so I waited about 15 minutes until the director consultation. They said it would proceed with incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction, and that the uneven eyes and sausage eyelids would improve, but honestly not to expect much scar improvement because my scar was not that severe to begin with. When I said I wanted an in-out line while lowering the line, they said that unless it’s an inline crease, sausage eyelids may be hard to improve. To do an in-out line, I would need an upper canthoplasty, but they didn’t recommend it because it could create a sausage-like look. It felt like we couldn’t really coordinate the line I wanted.. I asked because I wanted lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty, but they said I was already opened up, so they didn’t recommend it and told me to think it over again. This director also doesn’t seem to overtreat and seems kind. No pressure to book, and they told me to comfortably look around at other places too.

Actually, at ㄱㄹㅂ I saw an improved case exactly like my eyes, so I went thinking of it as my top choice, and the director was very confident, so I put down a deposit for now. But there are more bad reviews than I expected, and the first and second consultations said completely opposite things, so I’m really torn..

For now, I’m planning to also visit these four places: ㅂㅇㅇ, ㄴㅅㅎ, ㅇㄹㅇ, ㅇㅎㅅ. In-person consultations are hard..
