I was looking up surgery hospitals on YouTube, and the director seemed so confident that I thought I should go in for a consultation! Maybe because he has done a lot of cheekbone surgeries, even the consultation felt clear and straightforward! I asked about everything from swelling to roughly how much effect I could expect, and I think he answered accurately. Now that I’m exactly entering week 4, I feel like I’m seeing the amount of results he told me about!
From day 1 to day 3 after surgery, I really felt like it was hard, and from day 4 to day 7 there was almost no pain, but the fight with swelling was big. Since I was so swollen, it was a little embarrassing to walk around outside... After a week passed, both the swelling and pain got so much better, and normal daily life was totally possible! The swelling was about enough that people would believe me if I said I’d just had my wisdom teeth removed.
Anyway! I’m very satisfied with the result, and I’m really relieved that the surgery seems to have ended safely and well!
Oh, and so far I don’t think I have even the slightest cheek sagging! I’ll have to watch more to know, though.. haha
