The Laser Treatment I Got (MaxG)

My skin isn’t very bad. It’s oily, but I barely have acne. I don’t have severe melasma or blemishes, just a little, and my pores are on the larger side. Overall, pretty average.. haha I had tried Fraxel and other treatments in the past, but they didn’t help, so I had somewhat given up on my pores, though I always still had some lingering regret. These days, dermatologists appear a lot on YouTube and make videos, right? In one of them, they said that just getting rid of skin blemishes can make your overall image much better, and that a laser called MaxG is the best(?), so I searched for a dermatology clinic that had that device. In the Gyeonggi-do area, there didn’t seem to be many places with it. According to the YouTube doctor, maybe because it’s the most expensive device.. Anyway, I went all the way to Suwon, about an hour away. But when I said I came to get that treatment, the reaction was just kind of lukewarm, like, “Other lasers are fine too, but you can try this one.” Anyway, after getting it, it wasn’t bad. Once the scabs fell off, my skin definitely felt a bit brighter. But the melasma came back up again. The director also said one session wouldn’t be enough. If the price had been cheaper, I would have wanted to do more, but there was no package, so I gave up. Instead, I have what’s commonly called trichostasis spinulosa, where hair grows on my nose and makes the pores look black, and they had full-face hair removal, so I bought a package and am getting it now. I don’t know if things are different these days, but even just 5 years ago, when I said I had hair on my nose and wanted laser treatment, doctors would either say hair removal couldn’t be done on the face or look at me strangely. But when I said I had hair, they said, “Oh, that can happen,” and told me to get laser treatment, so I liked that. Still, facial hair is thin, and thin hair responds much less to hair removal, so I think I’ll need quite a lot of sessions. Even so, if the hair removal works, I’d be really happy. I’ve had about 3 sessions now, and once I’ve had more than 10, I’ll leave a review.
