It was too high for my face, so the proportions weren’t great, and the hump and bulbous nose were still there. Most of all, the nasal tip looked unnaturally pointy.. That wasn’t what I asked for, but it was too much and didn’t even look pretty, so I looked into revision surgery. I looked around communities and got referrals from acquaintances too, but I still couldn’t find a place I liked, so I even moved on to YouTube. I found a clinic that mainly works with autologous costal cartilage, so I went for a consultation right away.
As for the consultation review, since it was a revision surgery I had a lot of questions, but they kindly explained everything, so I felt really comfortable..? But I had so many questions that I felt grateful and sorry It’s been about 2 months since the revision surgery, and personally, I like it. The hump became smooth too, and it seems to have come out exactly like the design the director drew during the consultation, so I’m so amazed This is the best part. I was also worried that autologous costal cartilage might droop, so during the consultation I asked whether it wouldn’t droop, and they said this clinic usually uses an upper portion compared with the autologous costal cartilage commonly used. They said that area is harder to harvest, but instead it’s a much stronger part, so I shouldn’t worry about the nasal tip dropping. I think everyone should keep that in mind when getting surgery with autologous costal cartilage.
I think my nose surgery is finally over now.. It was such a long journey.
