First, to give an overall impression of the hospital consultations The directors were exactly straightforward, honest, and clean-cut. I was worried about a deviated nose.. a bulbous nose.. a hump.. I had a lot of concerns, and it felt like they only told me what was necessary about how to improve them well. There wasn’t any unnecessary back-and-forth, so it wasn’t uncomfortable, and I actually liked that it felt like I was receiving a professional consultation related to surgery.
Mark, Director Lee Jae-jun (Sinsa) I heard they expanded and relocated to right near Sinsa Station, but apparently they originally were in Sinnonhyeon. It was nice that I could wait separately in the waiting area. Other people moving around and that kind of thing wasn’t very noticeable, so I could stay comfortably. They accompanied me through the entire flow.. clean. I asked about custom implants, and they said I don’t necessarily need to use one, it would just make the estimate higher.. It’s not something absolutely necessary for me, but if I use one, they use ㅇㄴㅍ. I got the explanation. They said they would show CCTV. Viewing is free. After surgery, I come in to remove stitches and the splint, and to remove cotton..!! About that much? They said they provide swelling care.
Banana, Director Choi Won-cheol (Sinsa) The route was planned really well. Super close I think it was good for moving around (between hospitals..) The consultant felt friendly and was pretty. After finishing the first consultation and waiting, the director came in. I didn’t need to move. Here too, the vibe was, custom implant, is it really necessary? They said they use ㅇㄴㅍ, made after 3D scanning. CCTV can be watched in real time (guardian attendance). They said if I bring photos, they project them with a beam during surgery and operate while looking at them. Somehow it felt like they thoroughly reflect opinions. After surgery, I come in to remove stitches and the splint, and to remove cotton. Once the splint is removed, they provide sebum care, and they said they give a self-care kit so I can manage it at home too.
Glovi, Director Noh Bong-il (Apgujeong) When I looked into custom implants, this person’s name came up a lot, so I requested him. When I went, he explained his experience, saying he had done the most 3D implants in Korea. I was told they use ㅍㅁㅋ. They said they provide skin care, even shampoo (after stitch removal). When I said I hadn’t prepared any separate photos, they said to bring 3 on the day of surgery.. He said it would be good to use the nasal septum and donated costal cartilage together. Like Banana, they also said they would give care supplies when I go home after surgery.
All three places are not far from the station, so they were convenient first of all. There was no pressure, but I hadn’t heard anything about donated costal cartilage from the other places, and the last hospital suggested using it together, so because the estimate differs, my head kind of hurts lol I don’t really plan to visit more hospitals.. but it’s not easy to take action. When did everyone pay the reservation deposit after going around for consultations? Are there people who pay it right away?
